Cinnamon rolls are always a welcomed treat. They’re great for company, for a fun breakfast, and for a late-night snack; even better when they’re made from scratch in your own kitchen.
This is one of my favorite things to make, and a recipe I found in a fall edition Taste of Home magazine is my favorite that I have found so far. They are overnight cinnamon rolls, so plan on mixing the dough in the evening and letting it rise in the fridge overnight. Then, the dough will be ready to be rolled out and formed the next day. I love having an overnight recipe because it saves me time in the mornings!

I recently got a sourdough starter as well, so I tried two recipes using the starter.
This one had a good taste, but the rolls turned out a bit denser than I would have liked.
This recipe was an overnight recipe. It was a bit different than the recipe above; it used baking soda and baking powder. I did really enjoy this one!
For both sourdough cinnamon roll recipes, I tried the viral heavy cream hack, where you pour heavy cream over the cinnamon rolls just before putting them in the oven. This helped make them fluffier and gave them a great taste.
Neither of the recipes were overly sweet, which I really enjoyed. I’m still on the hunt for my favorite sourdough cinnamon roll recipe, but these were a good start!
