Article Written By Mary Vezina

Things may be different this year but nothing can dampen our holiday spirit, especially with all of the exciting and safe ways to celebrate this wonderful season!

First up this year is the Keepsake Christmas Craft Show in Edgewood, Kentucky. This craft show is one of the areas longest running shows offering many handcrafted items from local artists. The show will take place at the Edgewood Senior Center on Friday, November 6th starting at 10 a.m. For more information please visit here.

The following day - Saturday, November 7th from noon to 8 p.m., and again on Sunday the 8th from noon to 5 p.m. - the Winterland Christmas Market is taking place in Cincinnati, OH. This market is a small, but authentic German Christmas Market serving traditional German food, German Bier, Glühwein (hot mulled wine), and German pastries.

After the Winterland Christmas Market, I hope you take the week to rest up and let all the German pastries digest because Lights Under Louisville will be taking place the following weekend - Friday, November 13th starting at 6 p.m. – but don’t worry if you can’t make it on opening night, they’ll be up and running their contactless drive-through into the new year, closing on January 3rd. The drive is 30 minutes long including a 17-mile underground passageway filled with 3,000,000 points of light!
