Beautiful handcrafted chess or checker board made from locally sourced Kentucky hardwood. Boards are finished with homemade paste containing natural mineral oil and beeswax.
This Kentucky made product was handcrafted in the Iron Bridge Woodshop (IBW), where currently or formerly homeless men and others meet to craft handmade products from locally sourced wood. IBW is an initiative of Six Treasures Ministries, a Lexington nonprofit seeking to build life-giving relationships with the homeless and poor. Proceeds from sales go directly to support the work of Six Treasures Ministries.
